A rap song that is original and doesn't have a catch phrase, it's an endangered species. Rap is all about "flash in the pan" artists. It needs to either find another Outkast and stop sucking...or just go away altogether.

I agree..this happens to all fads in music, like your example of "hair metal"..

People move on to the new thing that is popular and the old fad just thrives with certain people who are devoted..

and yes, Hair Metal killed Metal and Hard Rock..it was a sad, sad day..and it has never came back to what it used to be...
