If your scalp hurts, you have your hair twisted to tight.

Only loosening the twists will lessen the pain.

Take a pain killer, acetaminophen or ibuprofen can help. It will feel better in a day two as your hair grows ever so slightly and just generally loosens as your corn rows age a little. Don't pull too tightly because you can damage your follicles and damage your hair and scalp.

You can take any kind of pain pill for it. I get that style all of the time. You can also continue to spray your hair with hair spray...like an oil sheen of some kind. It ads a cooling sensation to your head. There's not much else you can do. It hurts because you may be tender head. Very common....just give it a couple of days and it'll loosen up.

Never heard of it. But the tight bands will bring Ur hair out. If u want Ur hair to grow try to stimulate Ur hair like getting a bristle brush ( wig brush ) and use that. The little balls on the brush will get the blood flowing in Ur scalp or try massaging Ur scalp. Anything has to do with getting the blood flowing the way that it needs to will help Ur hair grow. I am a hairstylist.
