Grunge took music in a whole other direction away from the glitz %26amp; glamour of rock to a nasty, dirty unkempt look that ppl found totally acceptable. Also the musicianship of grunge (which sort of combined rock %26amp; punk) wasn't there as much as those metal bands of yore.

i think people where waiting for a change but i hated that song and still do. hair bads forever! if you ask me, i think that to many bands where just possers and they killed them selvs. i really miss all the good ones like skid row the crue and so mant others that really rocked. we should bring it back. its all i listen to
