how do i get this thick full look? my hair is so flexible and when mositure gets to its it wavys up i want it to stay full, thick, straight all day, i want it to be a little stiff like when an african american straightens there hair its a little stiffer but flexible at the same time. okay so what kind of products can i use??? k thanks

For the thick look, the celebrities wear extensions. African Americans use marcel irons to get the straight look. When your hair is straight, you have to avoid as much moisture as possible. When I used to wear short hair styles I had to avoid moisture because my hair would either wave or puff out. When taking a shower, try not to have the bathroom really steamy. Leave the door open if possible, if it rains use an umbrella or some other covering for your hair. Always keep a rain bonnet handy in your purse. I don't know of any products you can use to keep your hair straight. Perms only help so much. If you find a product, let me know! Hope this helps.

usually, a person like that is born with somewhat straight hair. but try using a herbal essences dangerously straight products with some thickening spray from bed head. and some straighters..........

its not the product its the method ....they wash deep condition go under the dryers....then they get their hair put into rollers go under the dryer and then the hair is blowdryed and flat ironed after...its long its tedious but it does the trick and adds tons of volume....either that or after the dc (deep condition) its blowdryed and then they take a ceramic iron and curl the entire head in sections and pin it until they later flat iron it

well if you live where theres lots of humidity like i do...the poof wont go away if your outside for too long.

i say use a shampoo with body enhancer if your hair is thin otherise straighten it normally and add in the leave in conditioner.

it keeps my thick hair full and together not so frizzified if that helps

Paul Mitchell skinny products and a P.M. flat iron. I love his products and they really work. Shampoo,Condition, blow dry using a brush and flat iron using his serum. Stays straight all day and night you may have to touch up lightly in the morn. Trust me Im a stylist.

You can only get really good results if you naturally have somewhat straight soft hair to begin with...but you can still straighten your hair no matter what texture you have it just wont be perfect...try this...and see how you like it..my sister does this and swears by it..even tho i think its weird...fill your tub and put like 2 caps of baby oil in there while its filling...don't over due it cos that will be bad just 2-3 caps...then when your done layn in it dunk your hair in it 2-3 times then get up and shower and wash your hair off...it puts that little bit of stiffness to it your talking about...its kinda like a stiff wet looking shinny look...

Use your house iron, It's hard, but the results are great.You'll have pretty straight hair. There is no need to use hair products, well at least in my case.
