You're not weak for enjoying music from an era that was known for glamorous stage performances, that's just how it was! So many music fans stay dedicated to the songs and artists that meant something to them. Although they are no longer in the peaks of their careers, some of the bands you mention are still touring and performing for people who love their music. Def Leppard's concert for this Thursday is sold out, here in new england, so plenty of people are still "huge fans". 50 %26amp; 60 yr olds continue to enjoy artists from their hey day .. and 70 %26amp; 80 year olds still love music from the big band and swing eras. We're all products of our generations and that in no way makes us weak! Keep loving what you love!

Megadeth and metallica are two of my favorite bands including slayer ozzy and black label society. I could put those at my top five, but just remember peace sells, but whos buying. hair metal is allright i guess

No.. not at all.. I still like alot of them.. I now see that some of them that I use to like really did not have alot of talant.. I use to love Slaughter.. now I think they were a little lame.. however I still love Dokken, Queensryche, Skid Row, GNR, Motley Crue, Savatage, Lynch Mob, Quiet Riot etc...

I absolutely love the hair metal bands. It defined my Jr. High and High School days! (Wow I feel old). I love that you mentioned Nelson, my sister and I spent our first paycheck to see them in concert and buy the t-shirts, what a great time! Thanks for the memory.
