18 month old hair problem...?

My daughters hair isn't that long but her "bangs" hang in her eyes. My mother is always yelling at me to get them out of her eyes, and to go get her a hair cut. But I think she is too young for a hair cut and I don't always want her hair pulled back. She also refuses to wear a head band, and she will only wear a hat on certain occasions...how can I get her hair out of her eyes?

why don't you try some gel.....I know that sounds kind of funny, but it works.....I would definitely try to find some that is natural and non toxic. It dries, but you never know.....

Good Luck.

18 month old hair problem...?

Hi I just actully went through this recently with my mom and my daughter who is 16 month having her shag in her eyes. , I ended up just giving her enough of a trim to be able to see her pretty eyes. Plus now my daughter who is 16 months looks even cuter.

You could try barettes though?

She's not too young for a hair cut. At her age, it's more fun to pull barrettes and headbands off... just to irritate mom.

As funny as it may sound, try putting a bonnet on her. It was the only way I could keep my daughters' hair out of their faces.... and to keep their sunglasses on. Besides, she'll look adorable in it.

Get some baby barrettes

just trim the bangs a little

I put a clip in my daughter's hair to get it out of her eyes. I didn't want a haircut yet either! And my mom was fussing. Just keep putting the clip in, eventually she will get tired of having to stand still long enough to put it in, she won't pull it off anymore. Make sure to never put her to bed with one though! Choking hazard.

My 15month old has bangs that reach below her ears (I guess that isn't technically a bang any more). Anyway, we use barrettes. I tried the fancy kind at boutiques and the kind at Gymboree %26amp; Baby Gap but they don't work well at all. The best are the Goody brand at Target--the kind I use are the basic metal 'old fashioned' barettes--the kind that you push down on the head to clip. My daughter pulled off headbands but she only ocassionally pulls these out. You do need to watch as they are a choking hazarrd. I have also been told she needs a haircut but I hate the mullett styles you see on so many toddlers.

My little girl will only use the little hair snaps. The bows are too heavy, so she always takes them out. The snaps are really light, so she hardly notices.

She doesn't need to get a "haircut", just cut the bangs. If you cut the bangs more in to the side, the hair on the sides will be more away from her face.

cut her bangs!!!

Just trim the bangs, she will look cute

I would trim the front and give her bangs you wont have to cut much and it will keep her hair out of her eyes.
