How to wash mid length thick bushy hair :P?

firstly i know this sounds sad not knowing how to wash my own hair but ive always had short hair but decided to grow it as im in a band as it suits the image and i like it but i cant for the hell off me wash it properly, so im in the shower ive applied the shampoo, massaged it into my head and then this is when it gets difficult, RINSING IT!!!!, when i try to rinse it out my fingers feel sticky to the hair and i feel like im gonna pull the hair out if i touch it ,so i end up just letting the nozzle rinse it but once i get out the shower i can still feel the shampoo in my hair :@ , and then by the next evening my hair is greasy and matted feeling, my hair is dark brown very thick and wavy any help would be apreciated :)

Are you using a conditioner? You should always use a conditioner. It helps close the cuticles of the hair and lessens tangling. Also you should shampoo your hair in cold water. Although it is uncomfortable it does lessen tangling.

what the hell kind of shampoo are you using? Sounds like you need to use a shampoo for oily hair or something, you can easily rinse your hair, it just takes a few minutes of effort each time. Also, when you condition it, you will get out any left over residue of shampoo.
