Why not KISS? My hubby and I went as Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley last year. We looked pretty awesome!
We just bought black rocker wigs, (for "Gene" I put the bangs in a little ponytail), wore black, and painted our faces. That was the only really hard part. Oh, and my hubby ("Gene") got some shoulder pads and shin guards for a knights costume and used them for his costume. They fit right in with his costume, except he wore the shin guards on his arms, lol.
