Kix- my favorite hair band, seen them dozens of time- DC area, throughout the 80's (better than AC DC)
Whitesnake- nobody sings better than Coverdale
Tesla- not glam but great rock n roll
UFO- greatest British metal band- seen them @ Bayou in D.C.
Ian Hunter Band- my favorite, @ Bayou %26amp; Capital Center, in DC
6th answer- Face Dancer- great Wash DC band that never made the big time - Bayou, Louie's Rock City, many others....

yea. not trying to steal Scot's answer, but he is right. I grew up in the 80's. love the hair bands!
