It's disapointing but you will have to take those items away. You can still use them only under direct supervision. Or you can try to get bigger mice ones she cant eat... Good luck

My cat loves to play with hair scrunges too, but she doesn't eat them! I wouldn't let her have anything that isn't digestible. They can become trapped in her intestines and cause her food to become trapped also which leads to poisoning. WalMart have an electronic mouse that costs about 4 dollars. It is battery operated, made of hard plastic and is motion sensitive. It's eyes light up and it rolls around as if running from the cat. She loves it! There are many toys that she can't eat. Trust me, she won't feel catnip deprived!

My cat has a good time with the Kleenex. He goes at them at night, and I will find them all over the living room in the morning with the corners eaten. I've been covering the box or turning it over before I go to bed so he can't get to them, but sometimes I will forget.

Take the bad things off of her that she shouldn't eat and give her other things that she might enjoy playing with. Try putting catnip on the new ones so she will go to them. Don't spend a whole lot of money on toys either, you may beable to find things for her to play with in the house. I've got an old sock filled with catnip that they think is the greatest thing in the world. My one cat in in love with a clothespen and bats it all over the place. They also like the little fury mice that cost hardly anything in the pet store.

My cat will eat hair bands too. She will sniff them out of their hiding places and eat them while I sleep!! DO NOT let her play with them! I don't know about the toy mice, but I know that hair bands can be very bad (i.e. Jazzy throws up all over the carpet shortly after eating my hair bands!! I'm beginning to think she's bulimic!). Buy her toys that she can't eat, or when she tries to eat something, squirt her with a water bottle. Eventually she will learn.
