Apparently you can pick up any sexually transmitted disease from them. A chinese factory has been 'harvesting' them from rubbish along with other types of rubber and processing them into bands. The government have now found out and the factory closed and the owner arrested. Just goes to show you cannot really trade with these people, their values are wrong, look at all the incidences of goods being taken off sale because the chinese wilfully used cheaper paint containing lead! Bodgit and scarper comes to mind!
